Lucia is a Provisional Psychologist registered with AHPRA and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She is currently completing the second year of her Master of Clinical Psychology with Griffith University.
Lucia has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families, particularly in the Child Protection system. She also works with clients across the lifespan through public health services and the NDIS. She is passionate about supporting individuals with a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and life stress. Lucia is also deeply committed to working with neurodiverse clients, including autistic people, individuals with ADHD, and those with intellectual disability. In addition, she has experience conducting cognitive and psychological assessments.
Lucia values creating a warm, collaborative, and safe space where clients feel supported to explore their experiences and build resilience. She draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Play Therapy techniques, tailoring her approach to each person’s needs.
Originally from Italy, Lucia speaks both English and Italian fluently and enjoys working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. Outside of work, she is a devoted pet parent to her three-year-old dog, Sigmonda (Mimi to her close friends!). Sigmonda is a beautiful, affectionate, and sassy English Cocker Spaniel who delights in meeting new people and is currently in training to become a therapy dog.
