Chontelle ‘Choni’ Berting

Receptionist

Chontelle is a valued member of the reception team at Mind on Health, bringing a warm, approachable presence and a strong commitment to client care. As one of the first points of contact for clients, she plays an important role in creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for individuals, couples, and families accessing psychological services.

With a background in healthcare, including previous experience as a nurse in the mental health field, Chontelle has developed a deep understanding of the importance of empathy, confidentiality, and person-centered care. Her experience supporting individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns allows her to communicate with sensitivity, professionalism, and genuine compassion.

In addition to her clinical background, Chontelle has also successfully managed her own small business. This has strengthened her organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to support both clients and the broader team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. She understands the importance of efficient systems, clear communication, and creating positive experiences at every stage of the client journey.

Chontelle is passionate about connection and believes that even the smallest interactions can have a meaningful impact. She takes pride in ensuring that every client feels heard, respected, and supported from their very first enquiry through to ongoing care. Her calm and friendly approach helps ease what can often feel like a daunting first step in seeking psychological support.

At Mind on Health, Chontelle supports clients accessing a wide range of services, including psychology appointments, mental health support, and telehealth services across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. She works closely with the clinical and administrative team to ensure a smooth, professional, and client-centered experience.

Outside of work, Chontelle enjoys spending quality time with her family and, when time permits, getting lost in a good book.
